Position Overview
Autodesk is working to help solve some of the world’s most complex design problems, from pressing ecological challenges to the development of scalable smart infrastructure; our design tools are behind stunning visual effects in movies such as Avatar. You may not realize it, but Autodesk is everywhere. If you’ve ever driven a stylish car, admired a towering skyscraper like Shanghai Tower, or watched a great film, chances are you’ve experienced what Autodesk customers can do with our software.
You will be a part of a product team helping shape the long-term company strategies to secure Autodesk’s leadership in BIM 360 area. You will work on a critical project that cover lots of new products and technologies, but majorly focus on architecting and developing cloud- and web-based enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
Design and execute user-facing features for the web product and marketing campaigns. Familiar with responsive design, web performance tuning and guarantee good user experience
Collaborate with global stakeholders on technical strategy, issue solving and dependency coordination
Produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration
Research and prototype new ideas
Contribute to a culture of innovation and teamwork
Preferred Qualifications
B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
4+ year hands-on experience of web front end development
Extensive programming experience in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
Solid understanding and development experience with React. Experience with AngularJS is a big plus
Hands-on experience on performance optimization and complex web products
Experience with design patterns like MVC, MVVM and Components
Experience with web debugging tools
Experience with tools like Webpack
Experience on dealing with the browser compatibility and mobile device compatibility
Experience in data structure and common algorithms
Fluency in both oral and written English
Experience on one or more open source frontend projects, like accepted pull request is a plus
Experience in fast-pace product delivery and agile practices is a plus
