Senior Front-end Developer
Job Responsibility:
As the Senior Front End Engineer at Oqton you’ll bridge the gap between user experience design and engineering, you work closely together with both parties to bring the best possible user experience to the customer. You’re passionate about solving front end facing problems and you’re interested in joining an agile team and produce high quality deliverables that are fully tested.
Requirements:
• Bachelor or master in Computer Science, IT or similar fields
• 3-8 years of experience working in web development
• Attention to quality through unit tests, automation scripts, and code reviews
• Knowledge of object-oriented design principles, design patterns and software
architectures
• Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
• Ability to analyze data alternate solutions, and risks that use that knowledge to
solve problems is essential
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with a variety of people.
• Experience building responsive web apps that consume RESTful APIs
• Strong Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React and Redux
• Expert knowledge and experience with core JavaScript fundamentals
• Knowledge of new ES6-ES7 features like spread operators, generators, async
and more
• Experience with Sagas/Thunk/Observables/RxJs is a big plus
• Understanding of AWS and other cloud based hosting platforms is a plus
